Noah Gordon, modern Amerikan yazarları arasında eserleri ile ön plana çıkan bir yazar. Kendisini edebiyat dünyasına ilk eseri ‘The Rabbi’ ile tanıttı. 1986 yılında üçleme olarak kaleme aldığı Hekim (The Physician) adlı eseri  2013 yılında beyaz perdeye uyarlandı. Film uzun olmasına rağmen her anında sizi koltuğunuza bağlayan türden.
